The Leather Leadership Intermediary Training course has been meticulously designed to build upon the competencies developed in the Leather Leadership Basic Training, offering Cadets and Trainees an even more nuanced understanding of leadership within BDSM and Leather Culture. The LLIT introduces Cadets and Trainees to strategic planning, emotional intelligence, and project management, all within the framework of military hierarchy and chain of command. Cadets and Trainees are encouraged to apply these principles to the complex dynamics of dominant, switch, and submissive roles, thereby gaining a comprehensive understanding of leadership within BDSM and Leather Culture organizations. Advanced leather protocols, consent frameworks, and vetting processes are integrated into real-world scenarios, enabling Cadets and Trainees to master the art of ethical negotiations.

Self-awareness and discipline, which have been foundational elements in LLIT, are further honed at this intermediary stage. These traits are integrated into exercises that focus on emotional intelligence, thereby enhancing a Cadet's or Trainee's capabilities in vetting and negotiations. The curriculum continues to prioritize diversity and inclusion, ensuring that all Cadets and Trainees, irrespective of their roles or identities, are accommodated. Intersectionality is also woven into the fabric of the course, providing a multi-dimensional understanding of how various social and identity factors intersect, thereby influencing leadership dynamics within BDSM and Leather Culture organization structures.

  • Commissioned Officer Branch in the military rank of First Lieutenant.
  • Warrant Officer Branch in the military rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2.
  • Noncommissioned Officer Branch in the military rank of Staff Sergeant.
